How to estimate gold value per gram
Select gold, choose your currency, and set the price display to grams. Enter the weight of your item and its gold purity. The calculator multiplies weight in grams by the purity fraction and the delayed reference price per gram.
For example, a 10 gram 18K item contains about 7.5 grams of gold. Its estimated metal value is 7.5 times the displayed gold price per gram. A 10 gram 916 item contains about 9.16 grams of gold; see how purity marks compare.
